Meet the Keynote speaker Max Huisden – Professor of Environmental Sciences at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname (AdeKUS). Board member of the Faculty of Technological Sciences (FTeW) and Coordinator of the Environmental Sciences program.
He is actively involved in various organizations dedicated to the protection, conservation, and restoration of the environment; he also promotes initiatives aimed at fostering green and sustainable development.
He serves as Chairman of the Water Forum Suriname (WFS) and is a member of the Water Platform, where he provides advisory support to the Minister of Natural Resources.
Join us for an engaging and solution-driven panel discussion with experts and stakeholders as we explore the challenges, opportunities, and sustainable pathways for Suriname’s future.
We invite students, professionals, organizations, policymakers, and all interested individuals to be part of this important conversation.
