Do you remember twins Amie and Fatu? These sweet girls came to The Raining Season as tiny one-month-old babies in need of urgent care and support. When they arrived last July, they were malnourished and fragile, and their small bodies were in desperate need of care. From the very beginning, The Raining Season stepped in to provide formula, diapers, medical attention, and the safe, loving home they desperately needed. Sponsors quickly stepped in to support them, and our staff worked to provide the round-the-clock care that they needed.

Today, Amie and Fatu are ten months old and thriving. They have grown into two of the most adored little girls at the center, bringing joy to everyone around them. Uncle Osseh shared that everyone wants to hold them, and they have captured the hearts of everyone. Visitors to the center instantly fall in love with them, too.

The girls are reaching exciting milestones and growing stronger each day. They can now sit up on their own, creep around, and pull themselves up to stand while holding onto something. They are still drinking formula while also enjoying boiled potatoes and eggs as they continue to grow. They especially love spending time outdoors, and Fatu often enjoys being outside with Nurse Susan.
