Sierra Leone Government Builds $3.5M Faculty Complex for COMAHS

The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Health, is currently constructing a state-of-the-art $3.5 million faculty building at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) in Kossoh Town.

The new complex will host 1,500 students per session and includes five fully equipped laboratories, along with office spaces for the Dean, Heads of Departments, and lecturers. The project is scheduled for completion in March 2026.

This development marks the first direct government investment in COMAHS’ infrastructure. According to officials, the project represents just a glimpse of the transformative initiatives undertaken over the past seven years to strengthen Sierra Leone’s health and education system
