Sierra Leone's Opposition Members of Parliament have announced an immediate and indefinite suspension of their participation in all parliamentary proceedings as a direct protest against the ongoing detention of high-ranking All People's Congress (APC) officials. Led by Hon. Abdul Kargbo, the opposition caucus leader confirmed that this decision will remain in effect until the APC National Secretary General and Mohamed Moriba, the party’s Bo District Public Relations Officer, are released from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters. This move creates a significant legislative stalemate, signaling the opposition's refusal to conduct state business while their leadership remains in custody.

Today, Ibrahim Traore took a significant step to enhance public safety by providing 2000 motorcycles to the police! 🏍️ According to him, this initiative aims to reduce crime rates, especially in remote areas where access can be challenging for cars.
With these motorcycles, our police force will be better equipped to swiftly respond to crime scenes and effectively combat crime.
