This includes strengthening law enforcement efforts to apprehend those involved in the drug trade and ensuring they face appropriate punishment for their crimes. Seizing their assets and shutting down their businesses can also be effective deterrents.

However, it is important to approach this issue with a comprehensive strategy. Alongside law enforcement, we must focus on prevention, education, and rehabilitation. Raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, providing accessible treatment options for those struggling with addiction, and offering support to affected individuals and their families are all crucial steps.

This is a test for our police and government, and it is vital that they demonstrate their commitment to fighting against kush and other dangerous drugs. By working together, we can protect our youth, save lives, and build a brighter future for Sierra Leone.
