Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮, has disclosed that the government is considering the possibility of accepting West African nationals from third countries under existing refugee regulations.

He also revealed that approximately 52 Sierra Leonean nationals are currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and are awaiting deportation.
