“I’m a proud Christian, this Bible brings back so many memories.” – Donald Trump

At a recent event, U.S. President Donald Trump shared a personal story about his faith and upbringing. Holding up his childhood Bible, he said his mother, who attended Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, had written his name and address in it, just in case it got lost and someone found it.

“You know, in the old days, if you lost something, they returned it. Today, a little bit less so,” he remarked. But what mattered most to him was the emotional value: “I said, I have to bring it and just show it to everyone, that I’m a proud Christian, because it brings back so many memories.”

Whether you agree with him or not, the message is clear, never be ashamed of your roots, your faith, or the little reminders of where you come from.
