🟢JAMES TENNEY – HARMONIC SPACES

Three months ago, in June, our dear colleagues recorded an amazing album dedicated to James Tenney's music.

First track, performed by Júlia Stahl Novosedlíková and Ivana Chrapková on one piano, four hands, part from Tenney's series of pieces based on the same hexatonal melody, called Chorale. Our version, called CHORALES for Harmonic Piano (four hands), harmonizes the melodic material on an instrument tuned in Just Intonation, hence that special sound you might hear, as 16:17:19:20:22:24:26:28 harmonics over fundamental of A.
