Data processing by Facebook

In what manner Facebook uses the data from visits to pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the page are assigned to data subjects, how long Facebook stores this data and weather data from a visit to the page is disclosed to third parties, is not conclusively and clearly stated by Facebook and is not known to us. When you access a page, the IP address assigned to your terminal device is transferred to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to data subjects. If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your end device. Categories and source of personal data
When you interact with the Autoliv page, we process the following categories of your personal data:
• Your public profile information, including name.
• Your uploaded posts and comments you leave on a post.
• Personal data you provide when contacting Autoliv via the Facebook Messenger chat. This data is provided directly by you. You provide us with this personal data on a voluntary basis and are not obliged to do so. Legal basis and purposes of data processing your personal data are processed by Autoliv based on our legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR). The purpose of this processing is as follows:
• To evaluate analyses and statistics relating to user behavior on the page.
• To optimize the page in terms of its user-friendliness and attractiveness, and to introduce user-friendly marketing measures.
• Various forms of communication, questions, complaints, and interactions initiated by Facebook users. Recipients
We will only disclose your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to fulfil the purposes described, if you have given us your consent to do so or if we are obliged to do so by law or by a court or official order. Transfer to Third Countries
In order to process messages from Facebook users efficiently, these, as well as the master data of the corresponding profile, are also processed outside the Autoliv page in systems for which Autoliv is responsible. In general, your personal data will be processed in European countries. If, in exceptional cases, your personal data is processed in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (so-called third countries), this only takes place if certain protective measures ensure that an appropriate level of data protection is provided. We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes described. The review of the time periods required for this is carried out through careful consideration, as part of which we closely examine the necessity of the data processing: If we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, this is done at the longest until your justified objection. Apart from that, we only retain your personal data insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations or for the preservation of evidence within the framework of the statutory limitation provisions. What a season! 🌍⚡ Autoliv’s first season in ABB Formula E Formula E has been an incredible journey of innovation, safety, and global collaboration.
From Monaco, where we first met and interviewed the FIA Safety Car driver for Formula E, Bruno Correia, to Tokyo, where our President of Autoliv Asia proudly waved the checkered flag, to Shanghai, where we activated fans in our booth and taught kids about traffic safety — every moment reflected our commitment to saving lives.
We wrapped up the season in Berlin with a powerful display: a car cut in half to showcase airbags, steering wheels, and the importance of seatbelt usage. 🚗💡
This season wasn’t just about racing; it was about raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and connecting with communities worldwide.
