Based on SURE project systematic review, two main types of crises affect grassroots sport.
1️⃣ External crises caused by wider societal events, such as pandemics, climate change, or population displacement.
2️⃣ Internal crises that arise within sport organisations themselves, such as safeguarding issues, weak governance, or limited resources.
🧐The findings also show that an organisation's ability to cope with and recover from a crisis does not depend only on the type of crisis. Instead, resilience is influenced by a range of organisational and environmental factors that are important across many different types of disruptions.
