ADD.locus Architects

We were deeply honoured to have our work recognised by leading international figures in architecture. Among them was Fumihiko Maki, Pritzker Prize laureate and one of the most influential voices in modern architecture, alongside Noriaki Okabe, internationally respected for major infrastructure projects, and Taro Ashihara, former President of the Japan Institute of Architects. Their acknowledgment remains a proud milestone for Add.Locus.

These esteemed architects were serving as jurors for the Kajima Prize SD Magazine Review 2000, an international architectural competition organised by SD, Space Design Magazine. Our project, House PTT at La Misere, was submitted that year and received the award, marking an important moment in our studio’s journey.

Shifting the Center – From Fragility to Resilience. Self-determination. Rooted knowledge. Radical imagination. Collective authorship. This is what the Pan-African Biennale stands for, and I am honored to lend my skill to the platform.
