Creativity, critical thinking and academic excellence were on full display at ASD’s annual History Fair on June 8, as middle and high school students came together for a combined showcase inspired by this year’s National History Day theme, “Revolution, Reaction and Reform.” 📚✨
From exhibits and documentaries to live performances and presentations, students brought history to life through innovative and engaging projects that reflected months of research, collaboration and preparation. One highlight of the event included an original student-written rap performance that connected historical themes with creativity and student voice. 🎤🎶
The History Fair celebrated inquiry-based learning, public speaking, collaboration and analytical thinking while showcasing the talent and dedication of ASD students across divisions.
ASD extends its appreciation to Ms. Lindsey Law, Ms. Bianca Blanco and Ms. Ashlie Jensen for their continued support and guidance throughout the process.

This World Oceans Day, ASD stands with the global community in reimagining a healthier future for our oceans. 🌊
As part of this commitment, ASD students continue to lead meaningful environmental initiatives through our annual beach cleanup efforts organized by the ASD CAC and Effect Club. Student volunteers work together each year to help protect local shorelines, reduce pollution and raise awareness about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems for future generations.
Together, we can protect marine ecosystems, reduce pollution and create a more sustainable world for future generations. 💙
