Patients aren’t aware that hidden caries might reach the pulp before they know the tooth is carious, hence the importance of periodic check up and Xray exams. As in this case the Patient was complaining from food impaction around tooth and had to make a root canal and a filling (4 canals treated) and will soon need a crown for protection.
