Successful Regional Circle meeting hosted in 🇷🇼

We were delighted to welcome the Enabel Country Directors from , the , , and , as well as our Regional Manager, for a very productive 2-day Regional Circle meeting.
The meeting took place on 23 & 24 January 2025 at Enabel's offices in and provided a valuable platform for strategic discussions and regional collaboration.

Rwanda Biomedical Center, Rwanda Health n'izindi nzego muri gahunda z'Icyumweru cyahariwe kwita ku buzima bw'umubyeyi n'umwana, by'umwihariko mu turere twa Gisagara District, Karongi District, Nyamasheke District na Rusizidistrict.

Insanganyamatsiko iragira iti : “Hehe n’igwingira ry’umwana, twite ku buzima bw’umubyeyi utwite, umwana, umwangavu, imirire n’isuku, dukingize abana inkingo zose”.

13-15 January 2025: Mother and Child Health Week 👶🤰

Enabel, through its Belgian 🇧🇪-funded health program, is proud to partner with the Government of Rwanda 🇷🇼, via the Rwanda Biomedical Center, Rwanda Health and other key institutions for the Mother and Child Health Week, taking place from 13-15 January 2025.
This year's theme is: "No more stunting: Let’s prioritize the health of pregnant mothers, children, teenagers, nutrition, and hygiene, and protect children through vaccination." 💉

Key activities throughout this biennial initiative include:
• Screening for malnutrition 🧒📊
• Deworming for children and adults 💊
• Providing family planning services 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
• Sharing vital malaria prevention messages 🦟

Enabel is actively supporting these efforts in the districts of Gisagara, Karongi, Nyamasheke, and Rusizi, working to improve the health and well-being of mothers and children across Rwanda.
