Cochrane Russia has been established in 2015, building on the work of the Affiliated Centre in Tatarstan of the Nordic Cochrane Centre, based at the Kazan Federal University. The team of clinical pharmacologists has been leading the network of experts working for essential medicines, clinical guidelines, health policy, based on Cochrane evidence since 2003. With this new set-up the activities will be extended to the whole of Russian Federation and beyond, in Russian speaking countires.
