Pharmtech & Ingredients 2025 exhibition has come to an end, with this year's event featuring the participation of more than 550 companies from 13 countries.

Packaging Without an Expiration Date

Starting September 1, Russia implemented new regulations banning the production of three types of polyethylene terephthalate packaging. This marks another step in Russia’s ongoing rollout of Extended Producer Responsibility. Previously, over 1,300 items and packaging types were included in this list, with around 780 new additions.

By the end of 2027, Russia aims to achieve a 100% packaging recycling cycle. As a result, eco-friendly packaging has shifted from a niche concern to a strategic priority for Russian businesses and the economy as a whole.
