Московский культурный форум 2016 организован Департаментом культуры города Москвы.

МКФ 2016 представит современные учреждения культуры, органично вписывающиеся в инфраструктуру динамичной столицы благодаря новому подходу к своей работе. Посетители увидят инновационные решения из практики библиотек, музеев и других учреждений культуры, особенно в сфере IT и профессиональной подготовки кадров.

В программе форума отражены 7 основных направлений деятельности подведомственных учреждений Департамента культуры города Москвы: театры, парки, библиотеки, кинотеатры, дома культуры, школы искусств и музеи.

Сама программа охватывает все сферы искусства и зонирует пространство Манежа на Главную сцену, Выставочный зал и Лекторий, который, в свою очередь, делится на музейный, театральный, красный, синий и кинолекторий.

Среди посетителей форума можно встретить как профессионалов и экспертов в области искусства, так и горожан, которые неравнодушны к культурной жизни Москвы. Гостями форума являются известные деятели культуры, представители гражданского общества и бизнеса, руководители профильных министерств и ведомств. Среди спикеров форума: Владимир Познер, Владимир Спиваков, Наталья Бондарчук, Алина Сапрыкина, Геннадий Хазанов, Игорь Бутман и многие другие уважаемые персоны.

На Московском культурном форуме можно не только принять участие в интерактивных программах, но и оформить абонемент в любое из представленных учреждений культуры.

Для тех, кто хочет стать частью культурной жизни города, Кадровый центр Департамента культуры города Москвы подготовил отдельную секцию по консультации и трудоустройству в учреждения культуры.

Facts about International Women’s Day 8th of March you should know:
1. At Capital Learning we appreciate this holiday in its historical meaning - we respect women's progress - economic, business, political, and social achievements.
2. It wasn't always the case that we celebrated the 8th of March. Now the holiday is celebrated on the 8th every year, but for the first five years, it was celebrated on 28th of February. Then, in 1913-1914, Russian women began to celebrate International Women's Day on the last Sunday of February. It has since been transferred to an annual celebration on 8th of March.
3. This date is an official holiday in over 27 countries. In different regions, the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation, and love towards women, to a celebration for women's economic, political, and social achievements.
4. The meaning of the holiday has evolved. It began as a massive protest by women who wanted better working conditions, better pay, and the right to vote. But since then, the holiday has evolved into a day of awareness on women's progress in the ongoing fight for gender equality, and a day to address issues across the globe that directly affect women.
5. In Armenia, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, celebrations of IWD were abandoned. Instead, 7th of April was introduced as a state holiday of the “Beauty and Motherhood”. The new holiday immediately became popular among Armenians, as it commemorates one of the main holidays of the Armenian Church, the Annunciation. However, people still kept celebrating IWD on 8th of March as well.
6. In countries such as Portugal, groups of women usually celebrate on the night of 8th of March in "women-only" dinners and parties.
