The Domino association has been founded in 2004 and has147 active members (teachers, trainers, pedagogical advisers). It organizes accredited courses (by the National Council of Adult Development Training) in 27 fields. The educational related courses: project manager, competence evaluator, human resources inspector, mentor, trainer, quality assurance specialist, teacher trainer, school mediator,
vocational counselor, have attracted a number of approximate 6000 trainees, 1000 of them future trainers of adults. The Domino Association and its trainers have learning, teaching and networking experience in international contexts. The Association has working partnerships with youth, adult and child education institutions from 7 counties of Romania and 17 countries and experience in working with different stakeholders, such as county inspectorates, NGOs on all fields of interest, schools, prisons, libraries, social protection organisms etc. All the trainers have between 4 and 9 years of experience in working with adults involved in education. They are also teacher trainers for the Dolj County Inspectorate for the Department of European Educational Projects and in this quality, they have organised numerous workshops for adults and personalised counselling sessions. All the trainers have participated to several international learning experiences (LLP): Comenius, Grundtvig (Grundtvig workshops included), transversal program, Pestalozzi, LdV and the majority are teacher trainers about European programs at county level. They have also been trainers in international courses with participants from more that 16 countries. The trainer team is multinational, composed from Romanian and Maltese trainers, to increase the intercultural and European dimension of the curriculum and methodology. We also managed several projects co financed from structural European funding, PosMediu and organised"Completing financial requests for the program PHARE Civil society". We were involved in the "Central and Eastern European Citizens Network", a social development network involving 17 countries. The main objectives of the network are:
• Informing the public from Central and eastern Europe about the impact of citizen initiative on the environment
• Developing citizen’s competences to participate actively in local and national development
. The team has experience in managing POSDRU projects.
