Do not be fooled on April Fools’ Day. 😉
Some statements may sound familiar in the diagnostics software world… but they are myths, not good practice:
“Who needs detailed requirements? The developers know what to do.”
“If it works on my machine, it will work in the lab.”
“We can clarify the requirements during testing.”
“Change requests are simple – we can implement them without impact analysis.”
“Risk controls can be added later, once the software is stable.”
