✨A few words from Teodora Retegan on the new record:
I wanted this record to be a place at the end of hope. To be greeted and held on the darkest of days, no questions asked, until I am myself again. To be well rested when I open the same door for somebody who forgot to stop walking. The alchemical process of turning hopelessness into solidarity, anger into collective fantasy.
We wrote this album before the intensification of the genocide. Since then I feel like nothing can exist in parallel. Our ties to the living world leave no room for detachment masked as cynicism. once said: we tell stories not to save the world but to remember what matters. Sometimes I forget what matters and I need somebody to sing it back to me. It’s your time to rest while I watch over the hope you’ve weaved into the world.
