RO/EN: 🍂Insurgent reprezintă continuarea romanului Divergent și al doilea volum din trilogie. Această carte vine cu o anumită surpriză pentru cititorii români, ea a luat naștere în Cluj-Napoca. Veronica Roth, creatoarea acestei lumi distopice s-a inspirat pentru nașterea acestei lucrări în timpul celor 13 luni care le-a petrecut în inima Transilvaniei.

🍂Ca și context, această este o lucrare mult mai complexă decât debutul seriei. Personajele sunt conturate mult mai bine iar accentul pe relația dintre protagoniști este fixat cu o oarecare precizie mai mare. Sfârșitul este unul șocant, demn de interesul orcui.

EN/RO: 🍂Insurgent is the sequel to the novel Divergent and the second volume of the trilogy. This book comes with a certain surprise for Romanian readers, it was born in Cluj-Napoca. Veronica Roth, the creator of this dystopian world, was inspired to create this work during the 13 months she spent in the heart of Transylvania.

🍂As a context, this is a much more complex work than the beginning of the series. The characters are outlined much better and the emphasis on the relationship between the protagonists is fixed with some greater precision. The end is a shocking one, worthy of the any reader’s interest.

RO/EN: ⚔️Când am început să citesc cartea aceasta, nu mă așteptam să nu o pot lăsa din mână. Modul de scriere este ușor de urmărit, ceea ce a fost un plus, fără suprapuneri de acțiune și personaje. Greer, personajul central a primit o bursă la liceul de elită St. Aidan the Great School în Northumberland. Nu are prea mulți prieteni acolo, dar într-o zi primește o invitație de la ,,Medievali” (grupul de elită al liceului), să li se alăture în weekend la Longcross Hall unde vor vâna, pescui și împușca. Ea acceptă în speranța că va fi integrată social.

⚔️Excursia ia o întorsătură care se lasă cu sânge, când cei vânați sunt chiar invitații.
Mi-a plăcut atmosfera acestui thriller, are un iz medieval, combinat cu sporturi tradiționale de sânge, și obiceiurile familiei bine împământate. Am simpatizat câteva personaje și prieteniile dintre acestea, de regulă nu prefer seriile la acest tip de cărți, dar de data aceasta abia aștept partea a doua. Mulțumesc Editura Curtea Veche.

EN/RO: ⚔️When I started reading this book, I didn't expect to be able to let go of it. The writing style is easy to follow, which was a plus, without overlapping action and characters. Greer, the central character received a scholarship to the elite high school St. Aidan the Great School in Northumberland. She doesn't have many friends there, but one day he receives an invitation from "Medievals" (the high school's elite group) to join them at the weekend at Longcross Hall where they will hunt, fish and shoot. She accepts in the hope that she will be socially integrated.

⚔️The trip takes a turn that is left with blood, when the hunted ones are the guests.
I liked the atmosphere of this thriller, it has a medieval flavor, combined with traditional blood sports, and well-grounded family habits. I liked some of the characters and the friendships between them, I usually don't prefer the series to this type of book, but this time I can't wait for the second part.
