We know we're a little late with this one, but here is the June recap and some glimpses of what kept us busy, grateful and happy this month ✨
— launching our Neighbourhood Agenda, a small bi-monthly guide to some of the plays, exhibitions, film screenings and other lovely things happening around
— opening our little community library and giving it a playful look with the help of DAIA while continuing to fill its shelves with books worth borrowing, reading and please returning 😊
— being part of BDF once again, through the Follow the Neighbourhood Cats circuit exhibition, welcoming one of Cristian Raduta cats in our garden and mixing a few very limited edition cocktails for the occasion
— joining Masa Palatului, a beautiful project by COMMON HOUSE and ducks in a row built around food, culture and bringing people together
— opening the group exhibition We Are Gathered Here Today, curated by and bringing together the works of Dragos Bojin Ioana Cristodorescu Elena Preda and Victoria Finala. If you haven't had the chance to see it yet, the exhibition remains open at Mira until August 15th
— experiencing both heatwaves and storms, including a forcasted rain that didn't even happen, but forced us to postpone a lovely event with .bucharest and Clubul de șah THE SQUARE
(we promise we'll bring it back soon)
— welcoming many new colleagues to our front-of-house team and learning together how to make Mira feel even more like home. Thank you for your patience and kindness while we all get the hang of things 🤍
— watching the garden survive June's heat, thanks to Tiberiu-Florin Petre and many, many litres of water
And most of all, enjoying our busiest month so far: full tables, long brunches, late dinners, a 4.9 ⭐️ rating we're proud of (but we're aiming for the full 5 stars 😉) and a community that continues to surprise us with its kindness.
Thank you for supporting us, for bringing your friends, for leaving reviews and for making Mira feel alive. We hope you've enjoyed being here as much as we've enjoyed having you 💛

Some pics from Tuesday evening, that also came with a little plot twist 🌪
"We are gathered here today", our new exhibition, took on a whole new meaning on Tuesday night, when the storm invited us all a little closer together 😊 So we squeezed inside, shared cava, stories and shelter, and somehow ended up with an evening that felt even more special than the one we had imagined.
Thank you to and to - the full hearted curator behind the exhibition, to the artists Dragos Bojin Ioana Cristodorescu Elena Preda and Victoria Finala and to everyone who joined us 🫶
Turns out, some of the best gatherings happen when everyone has to stand a little closer together 💛
And if you didn't get the chance to visit the exhibition on opening night, you still have time till August 15th. Come by, have a good time and ask our colleagues if you're interested in any of the works.

Tomorrow we're saying goodbye to "Fairytales Reframed", the photo exhibition by Andreea 🦋 and to the collage exhibition that grew out of the workshop hosted by Cristiana🔸Creative Manager. A beautiful project that was part of BDF.
Together, they invited us to look again — at images, at stories, and at the many ways we can reframe what we see.
A big thank you to Andreea 🦋, Cristiana🔸Creative Manager and everyone who joined us along the way. It's been a joy having these works — and the conversations around them — as part of our space 💛
