We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Simona Glasberg has been elected as the newest member of the Executive Committee (EC) of the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS)!

ENETS, a global leader in neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) research, collaboration, and education, has selected Prof. Glasberg, head of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Unit at the ENETS Center of Excellence, Hadassah Medical Organization, and Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. She is the first Israeli specialist to join the prestigious ENETS EC.

With expertise in endocrinology and internal medicine, Prof. Glasberg completed a translational fellowship in NENs and Endocrine Oncology at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital & William Harvey Research Institute, London, UK. Her contributions to NEN diagnosis and management in Israel are unparalleled, earning her the 2017 Lindner Prize of the IES for her scientific achievements.

Under her leadership, the Neuroendocrine Tumor Unit at Hadassah has been accredited as an ENETS Center of Excellence, the sole center in Israel and the Middle East.

Prof. Glasberg expressed her gratitude, saying: "I am extremely honored and humbled by this significant achievement. This recognition reflects the high international standards of care for Israeli patients with NENs and positions our center at Hadassah at the forefront of the field."

She added, "This opportunity opens new avenues for collaboration with international colleagues to enhance knowledge and improve patient treatment and quality of life."
