🎯 What is the real purpose of education? And what do we actually do with the information we accumulate?

Education should not be a warehouse of information.
Nor an endurance race.
Nor a collection of diplomas that no longer translate into anything concrete.

The real question is different:

👉 What does a child truly walk away with after 12–16 years of schooling?
👉 What are they actually able to do with what they have learned?

Today, we accumulate enormous amounts: data, formulas, definitions, theories.

But we filter far too little: what is essential, what is transferable, what develops thinking, autonomy, and adaptability.

The result is paradoxical:

🎓 young people who graduate but don’t know how to apply what they know,
💼 adults labeled “unemployable” after the age of 35,
📄 CVs full of credentials, but few real competencies.

Not because people are incapable, but simply because education has fallen behind reality.

Cognitive psychology and the science of learning are clear:

🧠 the value of information lies in its use, not in memorization,
🧠 key competencies are: critical thinking, adaptability, continuous learning,
🧠 what is not applied is lost.

Perhaps it is time to ask ourselves honestly:

📌 What is worth keeping from the current curriculum?
📌 What needs to be simplified?
📌 What needs to be added?

Education should explicitly include:
✔ critical thinking and applied logic,
✔ emotional and relational literacy,
✔ managing effort, stress, and time,
✔ the ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn,
✔ real competencies, not just “covered subjects.”

School should not produce people who are “good at tests,”
but people capable of functioning, adapting, and creating in a rapidly changing world.

If education does not help you live, work, and evolve,
then we must have the courage to rethink it.

Not for today’s labor market.
But for tomorrow’s real life.

Ordinul comun al Ministerului Sănătății și al Casei Naționale de Asigurări de Sănătate nr. 525/1.047/2025 — publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, care prevede că pacienții incluși în anumite programe naționale de sănătate se pot prezenta direct la medicul specialist fără bilet de trimitere.

România face un pas important spre deblocarea accesului la medicii specialiști.

🔹 Ce se schimbă?
Pentru anumite categorii de pacienți, biletul de trimitere de la medicul de familie nu mai este necesar.

🔹 Cine beneficiază?
Pacienții incluși în programe naționale de sănătate, în special:
• diabet, boli de nutriție și metabolice
• hemofilie și talasemie
• boli rare
• tuberculoză
• HIV/SIDA
• monitorizare pre- și postnatală (OB-GYN, genetică medicală)

🔹 Ce înseamnă asta concret?
✔️ acces mai rapid la specialist
✔️ mai puțină birocrație
✔️ continuitate reală a tratamentului
✔️ mai puțin timp pierdut pe hârtii, mai mult timp pentru îngrijire

🔹 De ce e important?
Pentru pacienții cronici, fiecare amânare poate însemna agravarea bolii. Această măsură simplifică traseul medical fără a afecta actul medical.
