One of the things we genuinely enjoy is meeting young people who are just starting to think about their future and explore different career paths.
Over the past few weeks, we had the opportunity to spend time with both university and high school students, sharing a little about our profession, our day-to-day work and what life in a business law firm really looks like.
At JobFest, organized by ELSA Cluj-Napoca, our colleagues Rebecca Georgiana Marina and Sandra Danciu spoke about their professional journeys, the choices they made along the way and what it means to be a lawyer at Filip & Company.
And yesterday, we were delighted to welcome a group from Colegiul Național Gheorghe Lazăr as part of the Joblandia organized by HR Club. Our colleagues Maria-Alexandra Ionescu and Roberto-Costin Cazacu shared their experiences, answered questions and offered a glimpse into the work we do every day.
What we enjoy most about these meetings is that they are always genuine conversations. We may be the ones talking about our profession, but we often leave inspired by the curiosity, energy and thoughtful questions of the young people we meet.

Last week, our colleague Catalin Alexandru joined Bucharest Arbitration Days 2026 as a speaker in a panel dedicated to one of the most challenging questions in investment arbitration: how do you prove value and quantify damages?
It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives with fellow practitioners and experts on the role of evidence, valuation methodologies and expert opinions in complex disputes.

We ended this week on a truly lovely note, welcoming a group of high school students enrolled in Joblandia, an initiative of HR Club.
Some of them had already decided they wanted to become lawyers. Others were still exploring their path. We simply tried to give them an honest glimpse into what life in law really looks like — beyond the stereotypes, with all the challenges, learning moments and human connections that come with it.
It was refreshing, thoughtful and full of good questions. And honestly, spending time with people who are just beginning to imagine their future is always a reminder of why these conversations matter.
