IRON sheep TECH is working closely with a successful and rapidly growing Australian social gaming company, VGW. Virtual Gaming Worlds (VGW) is disrupting both the online social casino and poker markets with an innovative business model.
The JOB
We are looking for experienced developers to join an international team to develop back-end systems that support online games and tools. We are an agile team, where you can choose your own tools and operating system. We have a fast-paced and fun start-up environment.
You will take part in all stages of development of your work. From the design phase into production. Build the service, test it, deploy it, implement an observability strategy, and finally bring it to production. All this whilst having top of the line help from battle-proven engineers.
Project Technologies:
- Amazon Aurora (Postgres), Redis, S3;
- Microservices (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Hexagonal Architecture);
- AWS (ECS, Cloudwatch) ;
- Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi);
- Continuous Integration and Deployment (CircleCI, Codefresh);
- Monitoring and Observability;
- Highly-scalable architecture.
The right PERSON
We are interested in the following attributes:
- Strong background in object oriented programming and design;
- You write clean, readable, maintainable code;
- You can spot problems ahead of time and fix them before they become an issue;

We are working closely with a successful and rapidly growing Australian social gaming company, VGW. Virtual Gaming Worlds (VGW) is disrupting both the online social casino and poker markets with an innovating business model.
As follows, we are on the lookout for a Technical Artist.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You have +2 years of working on a wide range of projects, both in terms of art tools and game hardware;
2. You're not a jerk;
3. You have experience with:
- setting up and maintaining the workflow of art production,
- investigating new techniques,
- developing and maintaining the game's tools and pipelines,
- research and oversee the implementation of rendering techniques,
- able to create custom tools;
4. You are a self learner, with a strong work ethic, and good communication skills.
Preferred, but not mandatory:
Social or mobile casino games experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work closely with the engineering team to prepare game assets delivered by 3rd party for implementation;
2. Coordinate and work closely with the engineering team to ensure the visual assets are implemented to maximise efficiency, memory and is optimised for target platforms (mobile web & desktop);
3. Design and implement assets export & compression automation tool;
4. Prepare in-game 2D animations for implementation based on either splines or sprite sheets;
5. Basic 2D drawing work in case of missing elements of assets.

Ever wondered what it looks like to climb to the top of the famous , Mount Batur? Our colleague took the most amazing pictures, but if you're interested in the truth, swipe left until you reach the last photo. It takes 3 hours to hike to the top, and do not let the internet reviews fool you: it is not a LIGHT trail :))). Come prepared with flashlights, water and hike masks. But is it worth it? The internet says yes. And after having this great experience, so do we. Just be prepared.
