The Balkan Medical Union is a nongovernmental organisation founded in Bucharest on the 24th of October 1932, and has the following aims:
To study the Balkan’s region specific disorders and the most appropriate curative and prophylactic attitude; to provide assistance in the promotion and achievement of the best measures that ensure the highest level of health in this geographic area. To cultivate a medical humanist and humanitarian awareness among its members.
During the congress, 3 awards will be granted for the best students' posters and 3 awards for the best residents's case presentations.
The location of the congress will be the Romanian Academy, address Calea Victoriei 125, sector 1, Bucharest
The deadline for sending abstracts for the 34th Balkan Medical Week has been extended until August 22, midnight. After this deadline, no abstracts will be accepted.
