Next week, between May 20–23, the 10th edition of DokStation - Music Documentary Film Festival takes over Control, as music films make perfect sense in a club setting.

Three nights of national premieres, underground histories, and subcultures that reshaped generations.

From the story of musical trailblazers like Amadou et Mariam or the chaos-engine that is Bu****le Surfers , to a rare glimpse into the universe of Lebanon Hanover , and deep dives into the rise of rave culture, this year’s selection goes far beyond the classic concert film.

All screenings will have RO subtitles.

🔗 Artist Profile: André Pahl

Berlin based DJ and multidisciplinary artist André Pahl operates in the shadowy corners of dance music, threading experimental disco, voodoo percussion and psychedelic electronics into slow burning, cinematic sets. Shaped by time in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Mexico City and Berlin, his world stretches from underground art happenings to the cult Safari mix series on SoundCloud.

Rather than chasing headline status, Pahl moves through intimate clubs, radio circles and offbeat scenes, turning dancefloors into surreal, transportive spaces. Catch him entrance the Front Room on May 15.
