🏰 Have you ever been in a country where culture and history intertwine into a fairytale-like setting, where caves hide beneath karst landscapes and the view of the mountains is close by?

✨ We are thrilled to announce the next chapter of our Twinning stories, this time in beautiful Ljubljana — the heart of Slovenia, where you will visit the capital in its entirety, experience the medical system, bond with the people, and build lifelong friendships with the students!

📸 Discover Ljubljana and its landmarks such as the Ljubljana Castle, stroll along the Ljubljanica River or cross it on the Dragon Bridge, discover the Old Town and so much more!

🗓 The twinning will be taking place between 21st and 28th of February, while your twin will visit Romania between 25th of April and 2nd of May.

💸 The participation fee is 300 RON and it will cover accommodation, scientific and social activities.

❗ Please be aware that the fee will not cover airplane tickets, meals, or any extra trips.

The British healthcare system (NHS) is one of the most unique and complex in the world—and quite different from what many of us are used to in other European countries! 🌍
Join us for our next MedTalks Abroad session, where we’ll be joined by Dr. Marius Negru, who will share his journey from medical school to practicing Trauma and Orthopaedics Surgery in the United Kingdom. 🩻
🩺 During the talk, Dr. Negru will open up about what it truly takes to work as a physician in the UK—the challenges, the rewarding moments, and how he manages demanding hospital shifts while keeping a healthy balance outside of work.
🏥 We’ll also explore how the UK medical system compares with those in continental Europe: from training pathways and hospital culture to how doctors and patients interact on a daily basis.
