Since February 2001, Alin has been an essential part of the Amadeus river cruise fleet — his journey spans an incredible 25 years of professionalism, passion and unwavering commitment.
For nearly two decades, he served as a Hotel Manager, leading with calm authority, precision, and a deep sense of responsibility. His teams knew they could rely on him in every situation — whether navigating challenges, supporting colleagues, or ensuring that every guest felt the signature hospitality.
And for the past eight years, Alin has been shining in his new career pathway as Cruise Director. With his warm presence, natural charisma, and organizational skills, he creates unforgettable experiences for every guest and sets the tone for smooth, joyful journeys along Europe’s beautiful rivers.
Alin isn’t just part of the team — he is part of the heart and history of the fleet. His dedication & loyalty continue to inspire everyone around him. Here’s to many more years of success, joy, and memorable voyages together! 🏆

Cristian has spent more than 12 years growing, learning, laughing and steadily building his career within the same company — a journey that truly reflects the spirit of river cruising.
From his very first days as a Waiter, to Night watch, to Receptionist, to Purser, and now over two years as a dedicated Hotel Manager, Cristian has built his career step by step, with heart, discipline, and an unwavering love for life on board. Today, he proudly leads the hotel team on the AMADEUS Queen, sailing the Rhine and the Danube — and he says it feels just like home.
Cristian’s favourite city is Vienna, the place where his cruising adventure began many years ago. Between then and now, he has travelled across countless countries, learned from every challenge, and inspired colleagues with his genuine leadership and kindness. He’s the kind of manager who lifts others up, helps them grow their confidence, and encourages them to reach their full potential. And when he’s not supporting his team or delighting guests, you’ll find him doing sports in whichever beautiful city the ship is visiting that day.
We are incredibly proud to have Cristian with us — for his loyalty, his professionalism, and the joy he brings to every season on board.
