Today, January 22nd, 2023, marks the first day of the Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival.

The Lunar New Year is an international holiday celebrated in many countries throughout Asia and around the world. The holiday goes by different names depending on where you are celebrating, and it symbolizes a hopeful transition from the cold winter to the season of renewal.

As we say goodbye to the Year of the Tiger, we welcome the Year of the Rabbit. The Rabbit is a symbol of mercy, elegance, and beauty. (depts.washington.edu)

We look forward to the New Year ahead as a fresh start, and an opportunity to tap into new energy.

Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate!
