Grayling Romania

Today we're presenting the Grayling ACTrend – report on legislative changes across Central & Eastern Europe offering insights into how the geopolitical disturbances affected local policy makers and adoption of key legislature.

Our teams in CEE have analysed almost 1500 pieces of primary legislation with almost half of those having a direct business impact. The report also provides an outlook for 2023.

Over the past weeks we have been fully involved in engaging with relevant stakeholders attending at the 10th anniversary of the Berea Face Cinste Romaniei event organized by the Brewers of Romania Association.

It was an insightful event, with focused subjects in the areas of finance, tax, environment, and agriculture. The topic of the excise duty for beer, together with the implementation of SGR were high on the agenda and stirred the debates, raising the interest of participants.

On May 25th, Grayling Romania had the pleasure to organize the roundtable "Financial and Digital Inclusion: Solutions for SMEs", hosted by the Romanian Association for Electronic Payments (APERO) in partnership with the Romanian Parliament.

The event brought together a wide array of stakeholders at the Palace of Parliament for a fruitful debate about policy solutions to increase the financial education and digitalization of SMEs and the population and to facilitate the transition of Romanian businesses to the digital economy.
