She blossomed when she understood that she no longer had to prove anything to anyone.

Not to anyone she lost her to. Not to anyone she didn't know how to hold on to. Not to anyone she didn't see her for. Not to anyone she didn't know how to love.

She blossomed when she started choosing her. Completely.

And she no longer accepted halves.

When she understood that her silence wasn't worth the noise.

She understood that love is not demanded, forced, or negotiated.

And that words remain mere words in the absence of deeds.

And someone's presence is worth nothing if it comes with chaos and pain.

The wounded woman blossomed...

In silence.

On a certain morning.

In a pause in thought.

In a moment when she felt that she was enough.

She blossomed because he finally turned to her.

And he promised himself that he would never abandon himself again.

From now on, he knows what not to allow another man.
