We warmly invite you to the opening of the group exhibition ’In the Blink of an Ear’ Sunday, 18th of February, between 18 - 21 h at CAV Multimedia. A collaborative piece based on scores created during the experimental sound art workshop will be played at the opening, being followed by a performance by the artist Alexandru M. Budeș.

Andreea Vladut is a Romanian multimedia artist based in Linz, Austria. She graduated from Time-based Media - Kunstuniversität Linz, where she specialized in electronic music, audio-video installations, and performance art. Her approach to music places a strong emphasis on highlighting the intrinsic value of raw, unaltered environmental sounds. She often combines these sounds with the noise generated by DIY synthesizers and instruments or manipulates them through the materiality of various objects.

Cyrill Lim is a Swiss artist, composer-performer, and sound artist based in Zug (CH). His examination of the aspects of perception and reflection of the used media leads mainly to performances and installation works that try to experimentally gauge the physical qualities of space and material to offer a tangible experience on a musical level.The projects he is involved in are located at the intersection between music and theater, art and research, media installation and social environment.

- noi 4 am pornit la drum în primăvara anului 2021 cu dorința de a transforma spațiul de la etajul al doilea al clădirii interbelice de pe Bulevardul Știbei, într-un spațiu creativ, fluid, unde să își facă loc atât proiecte expoziționale și participative dar și workshop-uri sau adunări spontane ale tinerilor artiști.

Timp de aproape doi ani, alături de apropiați, prieteni sau oameni care au crezut in noi, am deschis ușile pentru studenții și artiștii aflați la început de drum și i-am încurajat să îndrăznească.

6 expoziții colective și 2 expoziții personale, evenimente de tip performance sau talks și workshops precum și 6 evenimente care au animat comunitatea din jurul Spațiului Știrbei47 sunt câteva din cărămizile care au construit în acești doi ani nenumărate oportunități de dialog, învățare și susținere reciprocă.
