Attention Interest Desire Action

Attention
The first step in marketing or advertising is to consider how to attract the attention of consumers.

Interest
Once the consumer is aware that the product or the service exists, the business must work on increasing the potential customers interest level.

Desire
After the consumer is interested in the product or service, then the goal is to make consumers desire it, moving their mindset from “I like it” to “I want it”.

Action
The ultimate goal is to drive the receiver of the marketing campaign to initiate action and purchase the product or service.

Therefore, the AIDA model says that awareness leads to interest, which leads to desire and finally, action.

What is a splog?

Splog or Spam Blog is a blog created for the sole purpose of linking other associated websites.

Spam blogs are used to manipulate search engine results. Sometimes, they are created for the purpose of occupying search engine rankings on a certain keyword.

Many online scam websites usually create spam blogs for keywords they suspect their target audience would search for to find reviews about their scam website.

These blogs are also created to display advertisements. These kinds of blogs create a network of websites targeting different keywords and displaying advertisements. They also display poorly written, repetitive, and/or scrapped content.

Search engines are getting better at identifying spam blogs. However, sometimes a legitimate blog or website could be wrongly flagged by search engines as spam. Website owners can then ask the search engine’s support team to manually review their website and unmark it as spam.

Website owners can also review their website on their own to find out why search engines might have confused their website for a spam blog. They can change their content based on the guidelines provided by search engines to get their search rankings back.

How to choose the perfect domain name.
When starting a new website, one of the most important decisions you have to make is choosing the right domain name.

How do you choose the right domain name?

Choose TLD.
TLD stands for top-level-domain.

A top-level domain is the part which comes after your domain name and before your subpages.
The most common TLDs are : comorg net

If your target audience is global then choose a generic TLD.
If your target audience is in a specific country then, choose a country code TLD.

Avoid superfluous words and characters.

Using hyphens in their domains name which makes:
Look spammy
Not readable
Not memorable

Use keywords.

Your website has some purpose and you’ll want it to be discovered by the right people.
So, incorporate some keywords research and include the relevant term of the industry.

Keep it short.

If your domain name is long and complexe, you risk customers mistyping or misspelling it. Short and simple is the way to go. After 512 pixels, Google will truncate your URL in search results pages.

Avoid trademark infringement.

You have to be careful because it’s not whether you think your domain name could be confused.
This can also create brand confusion, which is hard for your brandability.
