Join us for a special screening of „Das Wunder von Taipeh“ (The Miracle of Taipei), an inspiring 🇩🇪 film based on the true story of the German women’s national football team that overcame the odds to achieve an extraordinary victory at the Women’s World Cup in 1981 in Taiwan - long before women’s football received the recognition it enjoys today.

The film is part of the “She Reel – Women in Society” initiative by Katara Cultural Village كتارا and the embassies of 🇩🇪, 🇫🇷 and 🇮🇹, highlighting inspiring stories of women and their achievements.

⚽🎬 هل تعلمون أن إحدى أعظم قصص النجاح غير المتوقعة في تاريخ كرة القدم تعود إلى فريق من الشابات الألمانيات؟

انضموا إلينا لحضور عرض خاص لفيلم «داس فوندر فون تايبيه» (معجزة تايبيه)، وهو فيلم ألماني 🇩🇪 ملهم يستند إلى القصة الحقيقية للمنتخب الألماني لكرة القدم للسيدات، الذي تحدّى جميع التوقعات وحقق فوزاً استثنائياً في كأس العالم للسيدات عام 1981 في تايوان، وذلك قبل وقت طويل من حصول كرة القدم النسائية على التقدير الذي تحظى به اليوم.

يأتي هذا الفيلم ضمن مبادرة «She Reel – Women in Society» التي تنظمها كتارا بالتعاون مع سفارات 🇩🇪 ألمانيا و🇫🇷 فرنسا و🇮🇹 إيطاليا، والتي تسلط الضوء على قصص النساء الملهمة وإنجازاتهن.
