you promised to show pity and compassion to all who,
loving and trusting you,
seek your help and protection.

Accordingly, listen now to our supplications
and grant us consolation and relief.
We are full of hope that,
relying on your help,
nothing can trouble or affect us.
As you have remained with us through your admirable image,
so now obtain for us the graces we need.

MEMORARE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, that in your heavenly apparitions on the mount of Tepeyac, you promised to show your compassion and pity towards all who, loving and trusting you, seek your help and call upon you in their necessities and afflictions. You promised to hear our supplications, to dry our tears, and to give us consolation and relief.

Never has it been known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly to you, O Mary, ever-Virgin Mother of the true God! Though grieving under the weight of our sins, we come to prostrate ourselves before you. We fully trust that, standing beneath your shadow and protection, nothing will trouble or afflict us, nor do we need to fear illness or misfortune, or any other sorrow.

O Virgin of Guadalupe, you want to remain with us through your admirable Image, you who are our Mother, our health, and our life. Placing ourselves beneath your maternal gaze, and having recourse to you in all our necessities, we need do nothing more.

O Holy Mother of God, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer us. Amen.

MOST HOLY IMMACULATE VIRGIN MARY, my Mother, I - the most miserable of all sinners - have recourse to you today, the Mother of my LORD JESUS CHRIST. I venerate you, O great Queen, and thank you for all the graces you have obtained for me, especially for having delivered me from hell, which I have so often deserved. I love you, O my very kind Sovereign, and for your love, I commit myself to serve you forever, and tend all my efforts to make you loved by others too. Next to your most Divine Son, I place my hope and my salvation in you!

Accept me as your servant, and receive me under your protection, O Mother of Mercies. And since you are so powerful with GOD, deliver me from all temptations or obtain for me the strength to conquer them until death.

O Mother of Perpetual Help, by the love that you have for GOD, I pray that you will always assist me, but most of all at the last moment of my life. Do not abandon me until you see me safe in heaven, occupied to bless you and to sing your mercies for all eternity. This is my HOPE.

MERCIFUL FATHER, hear our prayer and console us. As we renew our faith in Thy Son, JESUS CHRIST, Whom Thou raised from the dead, strengthen our hope that all our departed brothers and sisters will share in His resurrection, Who lives and reigns with Thee and the HOLY SPIRIT, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

HOLY SOULS, pray for us.
For the souls of our families,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of our friends,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of our enemies,
we pray Thee, O God.

we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of all priests,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of all religious,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of the just,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the souls of all sinners,
we pray Thee, O God.
For the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
we pray Thee, O God.
For those who have none to pray for them, we pray Thee, O God.

O Almighty and Eternal God, we beg Thee to have mercy on the Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially those for whom we are bound to pray; and we ask Thee also to listen to the prayers of the Blessed Souls in our behalf. Amen.
