QPPC

The company was established on 19 September 1998 at a project cost of QR 42 million and a shared capital of QR 27 million. QPPC started commercial production in August 2000 and was inaugurated by His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah (the State of Qatar's Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry) in November 2000. Around 90% of the production is being sold to the local market while the balance is marketed in the other Gulf countries and in Europe.
