Full Job Description

Logistics & Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Arrange shipments based on product availability and customer requests
• Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
• Prepare shipping documents (like commercial invoice, certificate of origin, airwaybill and bill of lading or other necessary shipping documents)
• Coordinate supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
• Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff.
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
• Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed.
• Provide information to sales department about the status of their orders.
• Assist in accurate and timely preparation of the monthly payroll.
• Input payroll actions including new hires, changes, benefits, personal information.
• Sorts, copies and files payroll notices and pay reports.
• Prepares and processes electronic payments/cheque requisitions for monthly remittance deadlines.
• Posting account transactions (Receivables, Payables & others) using QuickBooks.

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Solid understanding of the three levels of QuickBooks Online application: Free, Basic, and Plus
• Good communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast–paced, demanding work environment.
• Be professional and courteous.
• Advanced capability in using Excel and accounting packages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to cross train with others in the department.
