The deer can jump twenty-three feet in one jump, and the tiger can jump twenty-two feet.
So, mathematically, the tiger should never be able to catch the deer. But in reality, the opposite happens — the deer is caught in the hands of the tiger.
What is the reason for this?
Because, for nothing else, the deer looks back sometimes while running — to understand how far ahead it is of the tiger. And this is the time for the deer! If it takes one jump while turning back, the deer falls back twenty-three feet at once. As a result, the deer is eventually caught by the tiger.
That is why we should never look back on the way. No matter what mistakes we make, moving forward with firm steps is the name of getting closer to our dreams.
