Open Call for Applications for International Secondments under the BOOST: Building Outstanding Opportunities for Science and Talent.

BOOST is designed to strengthen research and innovation capacity in EU Widening Countries by helping researchers and innovation professionals build stronger links between academia and industry. Through international secondments, blended learning, and tailored career development support, the project aims to turn knowledge into real-world impact while creating better career opportunities across Europe.

At Universidade do Porto, eligible applicants now have the opportunity to join this mobility scheme and benefit from:

- Three international secondments of 2 months each over a 2-year period
- Placements with foreign host organisations across the BOOST consortium
- Access to four thematic training modules
- A personalised Career Development Plan
- New skills, professional networks, and hands-on experience in innovation-focused environments

Training modules include:
• Circular business models
• Social Innovation for SMEs
• Access to finance and related funding
• Effective pitching and communication

This is a valuable opportunity for early-stage and experienced researchers, as well as eligible administrative, technical, and managerial staff involved in research and innovation activities.
