This festive season we’ve made sure to carry on our tradition of going into town to see the Christmas lights and decorations. 🎄We moved over one year ago, and the town where we live now has the biggest Santa in the WORLD! 🎅

There's a crochet group that gets together to do some big projects, and this year they made a Christmas tree with old pieces of crochet donated by locals. Check the photos. It's lovely! 🤩❤️

I came across a post on the Facebook group Hooked on Crochet where a lady described a terrible experience she had with a pattern of a Gonk.

She's been crocheting for 60 years (so, not a novice), and she says she had to concentrate on every single stitch and use her maths skills to make everything work.

What if this lady was talking about one of your patterns?

You may think, ‘No! This would never happen to me. My patterns aren't full of mistakes, and they are very well written.’

Are you sure?

It's very easy to miss our mistakes because we're very familiar with our writing. We know what's supposed to be there, and our brains fill in the gaps. And besides this, we don't know what we don't know. You might be making a mistake without realising.
