Tyler Cooke Racing

A race I remember vividly is the 2016 12 Hours of Sebring weekend, which is one of the most exciting events in motorsports. We entered the week with confidence, but that was quickly tested when a fire broke out in the engine bay, with my co-driver still inside, just three laps into the first practice session. The car was taken back to the trailer, and the rebuild process began.
The team worked tirelessly throughout the night to get the car ready, completing the rebuild just in time for qualifying. As I prepared to qualify with no practice, nerves kicked in, but crossing the finish line to hear we were on the pole was exhilarating. It was an incredible feeling to reward the team for their dedication.
Unfortunately, that excitement was short-lived when an engine issue arose during race preparation. The team acted swiftly, replacing the engine and bringing the car fully back to life. Starting from the back of the grid, I drove from 34th to 2nd by the time pit stops occurred, and my co-driver brought us home in 3rd place. This was a triumph for all of us, a testament to resilience, proving that no matter what life throws your way, never give up.
