This is where things fail.⁠
⁠
A handmade screen-printed ceramic tile, still raw, before the first firing.⁠
⁠
We only print with engobe in this stage of clay. Nothing here is fully stable.⁠
⁠Each layer adds pressure and the tile can crack under the pressure of the squeegee.⁠ Or the tile survives the printing process but breaks later anyway. ⁠
Working with fragile matter means accepting the damage as part of the process.⁠
