"There are over 11,000 people living with Usher syndrome in the UK and an estimated 400,000 people worldwide. It’s a rare genetic condition where people experience combined hearing and sight loss, but it affects everyone differently. (...) Usher may be incurable, but that’s only until we find a cure. That’s why, alongside raising awareness and supporting families, we also fundraise for vital medical research."
