Awesome atmosphere in the old Estádio National do Jamor near Lisbon. The big party was not a reflex of the match. 2 red cards in the beginning turn the friendly into a boring and sleepy 10 vs 10 for nearly 90’. CR7 aka Cristiano Ronaldo scored, in what became the 1st, only and last goal that I saw him score live in a stadium. Not sure if at 41y old he will still play after the next World Cup, so yeah… we saw him score a goal, but he was offside and the goal wasn’t validated 🫣😩 I’m not the biggest fan and he’s not my favourite player. He’s a master athlete and his skills are not human, but his ego and attitude are already too much. Still, he’s a living legend. What’s totally unbelievable is how crazy his fan base is as the stadium was full of tourists and instagramers looking for the best photo.

Yep. Things I miss from another glúten tolerant life. A good sande de panado de porco, our schnitzel. For nearly 1 year it was my lunch, with a fruit juice and a soup. The cost in 2000 was around 6€ for everything, now the sandwich alone costs nearly that.
That panado was actually in a place discovered by German friends from Würtzburg. Local life, local food, local prices. It’s unbelievable what you get in return if you dare to explore and avoid the city Center. If you were in Bad Bunny’s concert yesterday, the food trucks around the stadium are usually great, but nothing compared to this.
