Conflict Studies Research Center - CSRC

The Conflict Studies Research Center recently organized a focus group as part of its ongoing research initiatives. The session brought together a diverse group of participants, including academics, local leaders, and political actors. This collaborative effort aimed to foster meaningful dialogue, gather diverse perspectives, and deepen understanding of key issues related to the center’s research focus.

Our international summer school students during a visit to Al-Salt, where they enjoyed a tour of the city and tried the famous Jordinian dish, Mansaf.

During the final event of the semester's film screening series, the Conflict Studies Research Center had a screening for the movie "Jenin Jenin" by Mohammad Bakri. The movie documents the 2002 Jenin refugee camp invasion. Following the screening, a discussion was led by cinema researcher Sari Baz.

The event also announced the winners of the "Hero" competition. The winners were Wahaj Bani Mufleh for "Nasiyat Al-Holm," Hidaya Kamil for "Anan Al-Dima," and Safana Shahrouj for "The Real Heroes." The judging panel included Dr. Said Abu Malla, Dr. Renad Shqairat, and Mr. Baraa Azmooti.
