The Samir Foundation, in the presence of the administrative board, held the first meeting for the "Student Leadership Team." The team, consisting of medical students from various universities, serves as the foundation’s executive arm on the ground in Gaza. The meeting introduced the foundation’s vision and achievements, while opening the floor for discussion and exchanging ideas with the students regarding upcoming projects, concluding with a clear plan for future humanitarian and medical initiatives.

عقدت "مؤسسة سمير"، بحضور الهيئة الإدارية، الاجتماع الأول لـ "فريق القيادة الطلابي" المكون من طلبة الطب البشري بمختلف الجامعات، والذين يمثلون الذراع التنفيذي للمؤسسة ميدانياً في غزة. تخلل اللقاء تعريف برؤية المؤسسة وإنجازاتها، إلى جانب فتح باب النقاش وتبادل الأفكار مع الطلبة حول مشاريع الفترة القادمة، واختتم بوضع خطة ورؤية واضحة للمشاريع الإنسانية والطبية القادمة.

Samir Foundation visited Al-Quds Open University as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic partnerships and explore future opportunities for collaboration in support of students and higher education.
The visit included a meeting with the university leadership, during which both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation and shared visions for supporting students. The Samir Foundation team was also introduced to the university’s academic environment through a tour of several facilities, including classrooms, learning spaces, and student-centered areas.
This visit reflects Samir Foundation’s commitment to building meaningful institutional partnerships that contribute to expanding educational opportunities and supporting students in their academic journeys.
زارت مؤسسة سمير جامعة القدس المفتوحة ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز الشراكات الأكاديمية وبحث آفاق التعاون المستقبلية بما يدعم الطلبة وقطاع التعليم العالي.
تضمنت الزيارة لقاءً مع قيادة الجامعة، جرى خلاله بحث مجالات التعاون المحتملة وتبادل الرؤى حول سبل دعم الطلبة. كما اطّلع فريق مؤسسة سمير خلال جولة ميدانية على البيئة الأكاديمية في الجامعة، شملت عددًا من المرافق والقاعات التعليمية والمساحات المخصصة للطلبة.
وتعكس هذه الزيارة التزام مؤسسة سمير ببناء شراكات مؤسسية فاعلة تساهم في توسيع فرص التعليم ودعم الطلبة في مسيرتهم الأكاديمية.

One year of the Medical Hub.
To those living outside Gaza, the “Medical Hub” might look like just a regular classroom. But for medical students here, it has become a sanctuary; a place of safety, learning, and hope amid the constant lack of electricity, internet, and the harsh conditions of war.
For one year, this space has carried more than lectures. It has carried dreams, resilience, and the determination of medical students who refuse to let war interrupt their path.

عامٌ واحد على الميديكال هب.
قد يبدو “الميديكال هب” لمن يعيش خارج غزة مجرد قاعة دراسية، لكنه لطلاب الطب هنا أصبح مساحة أمان، وتعلّم، وأمل في ظل الانقطاع المستمر للكهرباء والإنترنت وظروف الحرب القاسية.

Samir Foundation successfully concluded the “From Student to Scholar” workshop in Gaza, bringing together more than 150 medical students and graduates from April 19–29.
Through practical sessions on CV writing, scholarship applications, recommendation letters, and the ethical use of AI tools, participants strengthened their readiness for academic and professional opportunities.
This initiative reflects Samir Foundation’s continued commitment to empowering medical students and graduates in Gaza and expanding their access to scholarships and academic pathways.

اختتمت مؤسسة سمير ورشة “From Student to Scholar” في قطاع غزة، بمشاركة أكثر من 150 من طلبة الطب والخريجين خلال الفترة من 19 حتى 29 أبريل.
تضمنت الورشة جلسات عملية حول إعداد السيرة الذاتية، ورسائل التقديم، والبحث عن المنح، والاستخدام الأخلاقي لأدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي، بهدف تعزيز جاهزية المشاركين للفرص الأكاديمية والمهنية.
