When you speak about translating something between two languages, the usual preposition is "into":
Example: She translated the text into Arabic.
In the case of something being “from language to language”, the situation is reversed, and we use only “to”:
Example:
It is an English to French translation. (correct)
It is an English into French translation. (wrong)
It is possible, however, to use “translate to” in the sense of “translate as”:
Example:
“Good morning!” was automatically translated to “Sabah Elkheir!”. (correct)
“Good morning!” was automatically translated into “Sabah Elkheir)!”.
(wrong)
“Translate into” is also used when translating something to something else:
Example:
These novels were translated into movies (films)....
