We are thrilled to acknowledge our talented 2nd-year G-RISE trainee, Lourdes M. Caro, who is presenting her poster titled “Modeling Pulmonary Function Trends in Patients with HPS-1 Using Retrospective Data from Puerto Rico Community Clinics” at the 2025 HPS Network Conference.🎉📚

This milestone is a reflection of her hard work and dedication, guided by the mentorship of Dr. Marcos Ramos. She is currently presenting her poster at the Meeting of the Minds event, where doctors and researchers are coming together to advance the understanding of Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome (HPS).🧠💡

The conference, currently taking place at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, NY, from April 4-6, 2025, offers an exciting opportunity for fellowship, education, and collaboration. 🌎🤝 We are proud of Lourdes and her continued growth as a researcher, and we look forward to seeing the impact her work will have on the HPS community.

Best of luck as you present your innovative work, Lourdes!🍀
